Those who are genuinely happy For those who are successful where they are not. Those who stay humble and kind When life gives them every reason not to be. That’s what light does; It gives. [Verse 2: Slow singing, building tension] Some of God’s subjects pour their very own self-devotion Into others from a dry, empty cup, Over and over and over again, Up to the point of driving themselves almost sick to death. Those are the favorite targets of the Devil, Also called the beast. That one operates in the dark. In the very shadows. He does not want to be seen. He carries a unique signature Which is often disguised as the exact opposite Of what he shows. If people knew who was behind the mask, They wouldn’t fall for it! I thought the Devil was dumb to go bankrupt; He almost ran out of his demon staff. In fact, he lied and hid all along. This coward accused me of having initiated the warfare Without me even daring to try. It was indeed imposed without asking. Setting you in the fog keeps you away from clarity, And he made you agree to that. He made you accept the unacceptable. If he tells the truth, It’s a partial truth or a truth that acts in his favor To make him “look” great again, To hide his cowardice. The Devil is always in a hurry. Don’t rush it. Things that are meant for you can wait, And if they align with you, They will come to you at the right time And through the right action. I am not saying that he isn't dangerous at all; He still may cause harm. Don’t you think God has His hand over Hell too? At the very least, I hope the Devil taught you How to guard yourself, set boundaries, And live for the pure, genuine truth.
