[Intro: Low, brooding cello, slow and ominous rhythm, dark atmosphere] [Verse 1: Gritty male baritone, intimate and dark, sparse piano hits] Darkness can’t exist without light. Darkness will always be the shadow of the light. But when the light becomes too bright, there is no more room for the shadow, nor its darkness. Darkness absorbs light like a black wall does, but it has its limits for light absorption before it gets completely drowned out. Light is absolutely necessary to see. [Pre-Chorus: Building tension, heavy bass drum heartbeat, voice growing urgent] It takes a great deal of light for humans to see clearly black characters on a black background, like printed paper. Still, you shall not dip your fingers into that dark ink and tarnish both your hands. That stain is very hard to remove; it may turn into a tattoo that you regret having. [Chorus: Explosive cinematic orchestration, raw raspy belting, angry and powerful] Darkness shall never prosper; you shall be condemned! I wish that snake had never shown up in the Garden of Eden. Then darkness would never have existed, only to be doomed to fail. [Verse 2: Tempo slows slightly, stripped back to dark strings, questioning and exhausted tone] Light still prevails, but in the meantime, I see many wars. There are moments the world thought a third world war would be declared. Why can eccentric politicians lead us into absolute chaos and destruction? Who governs them? Who whispers bad things in their ears, influencing them to act? [Bridge: Heavy, driving rhythm, angry and massive vocal swell] It is the ancient serpent, still hissing from the garden, wrapping around the minds of the powerful, trading the world's peace for a temporary crown in the dark! [Outro: Majestic swell of strings, spiritual realization, triumphant and clear vocal] But it taught us how important appreciating the light from God is—in great times just as much as in hostile times. [Final fade: A single, bright, echoing piano chord piercing the silence] Amen. [End]
