[Verse] Glory is within yourself. Don’t you see it yet? You might be too busy looking at success, comparing yourself to others, and feeling left behind. Honestly, aren't you hiding this from yourself? Should you be too focused on yourself and your own goals? You should show the world once your project is fully done; you don’t need the approval of others. Then you would feel fully satisfied, with no doubts that the project is pure art and your very essence. [Pre-Chorus] It doesn't mean you have to be eccentric with others. But be genuinely happy for the success of others, even when you think the good Lord is not watching. The success you wish upon others will be returned to you fully. [Chorus] Yesterday is gone; it belongs to the past, and the past does not define who you decide to be today. Tomorrow has not yet come. Modern society is demanding and sometimes exhausting. Focus on today; that is more than enough. Lay all the rest before the good Lord; He will take the heavy weight off your shoulders and straighten your spine. Letting go is important, though expectations kill the process. Be open. Sometimes success knocks on your door. You must open that door. [Verse] How do you think I wrote all the songs for this album in about a week? As I am writing these songs, I feel a profound inspiration, so deep it feels like writing a modern testament. I even hesitated to call this album "The New Lyrics Bible." I hope these lyrics shall prosper and bring you exactly what you need. Writing these texts makes me feel as though I am carrying the weight of the twelve disciples all at once. I am not complaining at all; it is an honor to feel chosen to carry this message. I am pledged to do so. [Pre-Chorus] I must say that writing brings me so much healing—much more than I thought it would. Bringing these sentences to the world with all my vulnerabilities may surely push me through a deeper healing, but also heal others who desperately need it, and perhaps make the wheel turn again as it should, as God initially designed it to turn. [Bridge] I feel the fire in these lyrics. I feel the urge to write. As soon as I have one second free—even in whispers while sleeping—a deeply spiritual energy encourages me tirelessly to write more and more, even when I am commuting between places. I get flashes, pictures coming up in my head, coordinating events that I did not see coming. New lyrics and song titles pop up like a burst, and other songs appear like magic, saying exactly what I needed to hear to strike me and inspire me to write more. That is how heaven whispers to you. [Verse] That is why, most of the time, you might say, "God, answer my prayer now," with short patience. The Lord hears them all, and no one is discarded. Maybe He answered your prayers in a way you did not expect, or you did not pay close enough attention to His answers? [Chorus] "Do it," says the Lord. "Your lyrics make me cry more than I shall admit," says the Lord. "I may have lightly flooded the throne and all of heaven with tears of heart and truth without you knowing." The Lord says you must comprehend the urge of the world, which desperately needs to hear what you have to say. You are a living testimony. [Verse] My songs may seem redundant to one another for some, but you must understand all the different angles of the same story. It carries the same signature. These stories build strong character by the hand and guidance of God. I don’t need to prove anything; those who know the undeniable truth will not be able to ignore it. It will knock on your door until you open that door to God. [Bridge] It doesn’t mean you have to live a hard life as I did to be successful, but you must know there are no shortcuts. Mimicking the truth will only put you in a ditch and ruin all that is sacred. I might have lived a hard life in every possible way to give advice and admonition to others, so they won't make the same mistakes I did. And for those who are walking through the storm, they will know hope still remains in hardship, and the Lord will honor His promises as He always has. Sometimes I still kneel before the Lord and humbly say, "God, I am genuinely happy for the change that I miraculously found." Some may say, "What will you do with that? It won’t lead you anywhere." You know what, Lord? I’ve been able to put just enough gas in the tank for today to do what I had to do. Tomorrow is another day. But Lord, just getting through today is tough enough. I am alive, my heart is still beating, and I am still breathing. I am thankful. God, you taught me how to be humble with less. I wouldn't appreciate things as much as I do today, carrying the blessings that You prepared for me. I had to learn how to handle less to be ready to handle more. Sometimes, blessings unfold like breadcrumbs, and I appreciate every single one. Thank you for doing so, Holy Father, and for building me stronger and more resilient than ever before.
