Ain’t Built to Behavev-Fi
Gritty southern country rock with strong blues influence, fast mid-tempo (~108–116 BPM), raw barroom energy, heavy groove, dusty outlaw vibe, less polished, more attitude than perfection. Driven by punchy acoustic strumming and dirty electric slide guitar, bluesy riffs, swampy feel, fiddle used aggressively, harmonica rough and expressive. Slight analog grit, natural imperfections, live band feel.
Vocals: two male country singers, deep, raspy, whiskey-soaked voices, rough and gritty, blues-infused phrasing, one slightly lower and darker, the other sharper and more biting, trading lines with attitude, clashing and blending in chorus, raw, loud, imperfect, full of character.
Arrangement: dirty guitar riff intro, driving verses with vocal back-and-forth, chorus hits hard with both voices, gritty slide guitar fills, bluesy instrumental break, final chorus louder, rougher, ending with raw band energy.
Lag lignende
[Verse 1] (Singer 1)
Dust in my teeth, blood in my grin
Trouble rolls where I been
Boot heel drag on a barroom floor
Bartender knows I’ll want one more
[Verse 1] (Singer 2)
Cheap whiskey burn, don’t feel the pain
Been runnin’ hard through hell and rain
Ain’t no map for the road I take
If it don’t bend, then it’s gonna break
[Chorus] (Both)
We ain’t built to behave
We don’t scare, we don’t save
Got fire in the bones, dirt in the veins
We ride through the hurt, we dance in the flames
We ain’t built to behave
We don’t kneel, we don’t pray
If it’s wrong, then let it be
That’s the only way we’re free
[Verse 2] (Singer 1)
Slide guitar cry cuts through the night
Like a bad decision feelin’ right
Neon flickers, boots still move
Got nothin’ left but somethin’ to prove
[Verse 2] (Singer 2)
Fist on wood, heart on edge
Livin’ life on a broken ledge
You call it lost, I call it mine
A crooked road suits me just fine
[Chorus] (Both)
We ain’t built to behave
We don’t scare, we don’t save
Got fire in the bones, dirt in the veins
We ride through the hurt, we dance in the flames
We ain’t built to behave
We don’t kneel, we don’t pray
If it’s wrong, then let it be
That’s the only way we’re free
[Bridge] (Slow, heavy, blues feel)
(Singer 1)
Ain’t no halo over my head
(Singer 2)
Just smoke and sins I ain’t done yet
(Both)
If I fall, I fall loud
Face first in a rebel crowd
[Final Chorus] (Both, rougher & louder)
We ain’t built to behave
We don’t scare, we don’t save
Got fire in the bones, dirt in the veins
We ride through the hurt, we dance in the flames
