A Psalm of Thanksgiving for My Family Lord, I thank You for my family— for every name, every face, every story woven into the tapestry of my life. Thank You for the generations before me, for the unseen sacrifices, the hidden prayers, the strength that carried forward even when it was not spoken. You have been faithful through every season, even when we did not recognize Your hand. Thank You that You are the God of redemption, the God of restoration— the One who restores what was lost, who heals what was broken, who renews what felt beyond repair. Thank You that You are healing every family rift. Thank You that old wounds are being healed. Thank You that bitterness, anger, and division are ending. Thank You that my family shall be whole again. Thank You that Your love flows through every branch of my family line— past, present, and yet to come. Thank You that Your light replaces darkness, peace replaces striving, and Your truth silences every lie we have believed. Thank You that You bless my family with wholeness. You bless them with peace that settles deep in their hearts. You bless them with identity— to know they are seen, known, and cherished by You. Thank You that where there has been division, You bring unity. Where there has been pain, You bring comfort. Where there has been wandering, You call each one home into the security of Your love. Thank You for miracle upon miracle. Thank You that nothing is wasted in Your hands. Every story matters. Every life matters. And You are writing something beautiful through us all. Thank You that my home will be known as a house of thanksgiving. Thank You that joy and laughter fills my home and that Your beauty , light and love flow out of my home and my family. Thank You that generations will be healed. Thank You that my children and grandchildren will walk in Your goodness, beauty, light and love. Today, I choose gratitude. I choose to see my family through Your eyes— with hope, with compassion, with expectation. I rejoice that You are restoring. You are redeeming. You are making all things new. And I praise and thank You for all that You have done and continue to do. That Your goodness and love follow my family all the days of their lives and they will dwell in Your house forever. Amen.
