What Comes Alive v1v-Vox
This is me
Driving acoustic awakening song in the Gravity Prophets universe. 110 BPM, 4/4. Voice-led, hopeful, urgent, and alive. Rhythmic piano is the engine: rolling, pulsing chord patterns with steady forward motion, like a rhythm guitar driving the song. Piano should not be flashy lead; it should create momentum under the vocal.
Add acoustic guitar for lift and texture: bright strums, light fingerpicking, natural wood-and-string energy. Keep it mostly acoustic and unamplified-feeling. No heavy rock drums, no glossy pop, no electronic sheen. Light hand percussion, foot-stomp, brushed snare, or soft kick can support the drive.
Mood: morning after the reckoning, open road, clean air, awakening, release, forward motion. Honest, spiritual, grounded, but energized. Build steadily toward a powerful final chorus without overproducing. The song should feel like empty hands turning into forward motion.

[Verse 1]âšI woke before the morningâšBefore the world had made a soundâšNo engine in the distanceâšNo trouble coming down
Just breath inside the silenceâšJust light across the floorâšAnd all the things I thought I neededâšDidnât need me anymore
[Verse 2]âšI left the keys on the tableâšLeft the weight beside the bedâšLet the old ghosts keep their storiesâšLet the noise stay in my head
Thereâs a road outside the windowâšThereâs a sky I havenât triedâšAnd something in me movingâšThat I thought had already died
[Chorus]âšAnd I feel it nowâšLike a river under stoneâšLike a fire in the rootsâšLike a seed coming home
I donât need the crownâšI donât need the fightâšWhen the world falls awayâšWhat remains comes alive
[Verse 3]âšThereâs a hand I should have held moreâšThereâs a truth I should have namedâšThere were years I spent defendingâšThings that never knew my name
But the heart is not a ruinâšJust because it learned to breakâšAnd the soul is not finishedâšJust because it had to wait
[Chorus]âšAnd I feel it nowâšLike a river under stoneâšLike a fire in the rootsâšLike a seed coming home
I donât need the crownâšI donât need the fightâšWhen the world falls awayâšWhat remains comes alive
[Bridge â rising, hopeful]âšLet the morning find me openâšLet the weather have its sayâšLet the past become the ashesâšThat the wind can carry away
I was never what I carriedâšI was never what I ownedâšI was only something wakingâšTrying to make its way home
[Final Chorus â driving, bright, acoustic]âšAnd I feel it nowâšLike a river under stoneâšLike a fire in the rootsâšLike a seed coming home
I donât need the crownâšI donât need the fightâšWhen the world falls awayâšWhat remains comes alive
[Outro]âšWhat remains comes aliveâšWhat was buried learns to riseâšEmpty hands, open skyâšWhat remains comes alive
