Verse 1: Every day I feel I'm wearing a different mask, it hides my true pain and keeps me on task, it hides my emotions, feelings and passion, and all I really need is to be shown some compassion. Verse 2: I try to pull the mask down, show the true me, but end up getting hurt more than I want to be, the fun, happy person behind the mask each day, is actually struggling in so many ways.
