[Intro: Tension building, rhythmic strings pulsing like a warning] [Verse 6: Powerful, resonant, cautionary] Society will say leaving is weak, but do they know how strong that act truly is, or the immense courage it takes to walk through it? Perhaps they only say that because they have never been through it themselves. On the other hand, neither side should judge; after all, we each have our own path to walk. Torments might knock back on that door again. Like uninvited vendors, they go door-to-door, expecting you to answer. They’ll keep knocking louder, multiplying their efforts until you finally give in. They are the nagging kind—the ones who shove a foot in the gap the second you crack the door open, trying to jam the very locks you just installed. But remember: that door belongs to you, even if it stands in the shared corridor we call life. You own every part of it—the hinges, the handle, and the double lock. Because the door itself... is you. You are the sole owner of that threshold, so you—and only you—decide what happens with your door. Those nagging vendors might force the door fully wide open and torment you more than ever before. They will throw you down on the floor, and some may not be able to rise after. Courage feels like it never existed, sickness invites itself in, and the weight makes you feel held captive in a nightmare that never ends, accompanied by that awful thought: “See, I told you you’d fail.” You may surely face the feeling of shame—worrying about what others may think of you. People may say that you are too exigent, that you’re "too much" to handle, or they might say the complete opposite—that you’re simply not enough. The truth is, they will never be satisfied. Some may even silently grow jealous of your success—smiling to your face while stabbing you in the back the moment you look away. But the only person you should truly care about is you. Align yourself. You don’t need the approval of others for growth; give yourself permission. [Chorus: Triumphant and lifting, the climax of the song] Doubts will creep into what you are building, and they might persist until you quit trying and remain that same old persona you hid away centuries ago. They’ll try to trick you into reaching for that discarded mask again—that polished, manufactured face you finally had the courage to shed. But remember: if you put that mask back on, you are only suffocating the diamond that has finally started to shine. Comfort will try to seduce you back into those old shadows, whispering, "I’ve done enough," even when the path you've drawn is far from finished. While a lie takes the elevator, the truth takes the stairs. It simply takes more time to arrive, but arrive it will. You can’t truly escape your lies for long; they have a way of catching up when you least expect it. It is only later you’ll notice that every stepping stone you climbed was forging your persona and your blessings. Never accept less than what makes your heart feel at ease. [Outro: Stripped back to just a solitary, beautiful piano and clear vocals] Comparison—comparing yourself to others—kills progress by making you fall behind and ending up in discouragement. You must accept that you are unique, and so is your path. Embrace your journey; no one can take action and move for you. “No one else could take my place and fill my flesh like a man fills a mascot suit,” as I previously said in the song called “Loving Unconditionally.” You want to be an artist, but you don’t know how to paint? Do it anyway; art is art. That's how people will show their true colors and shall respect the colors of others. Be true to yourself, and the rest will follow. [Final fade: A single, long echoing heavenly chord] Amen. [End]
